- When does XENIOS Care actually launch?
- XENIOS Care is opening pilots in 2026. The full public release follows once the pilot cohort is live and stable. Register your interest via /contact to be considered for the launch cohort — spots are limited to a small number of properties so we can support each personally.
- What size hospital is XENIOS Care built for?
- Indian nursing homes, day-care centres, and tier-2 hospitals in the 10 to 100+ bed range. We are not targeting large multi-specialty tertiary hospitals with existing enterprise HIS — the design is for the mid-market where a single operational system replaces four or five disconnected tools.
- Does XENIOS Care need constant internet to run?
- No. Like the rest of XENIOS, Care is local-first. Ward operations, patient IoT and clinical workflows keep running through internet outages; the cloud is a backup and sync layer, never the source of truth. Critical care does not stop when the ISP does.
- How does XENIOS Care work with our existing HIS?
- Care can run standalone or coexist with an existing HIS. Interop is scoped during the pilot conversation — we support common HL7/FHIR pathways for orders and lab results, and read-only bridges for demographic sync. Full replacement is an option for hospitals without a working HIS today.
- What hardware do I need for the contactless patient sensing?
- XENIOS-designed sensors and a small in-ward gateway. Hardware is included in the pilot programme so the property does not need to procure third-party devices. All sensors are contactless — no camera on the patient, nothing worn — powered by XENIOS proprietary smart-sensing IP.
- Is patient data compliant with Indian data protection law?
- The Care platform is built to the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023: lawful basis, purpose limitation, minimisation, and deletion on request. Data fiduciary duties are documented in the Privacy Policy. GDPR-aligned principles apply for any international pilots.
