XENIOSINTELLIGENT OPERATIONS OS
The story

Built by operators. For operators.

XENIOS started as one cafe's frustration with six apps that didn't talk to each other. Today it runs Cafe Deja Vu across four Pune outlets, with more brands rolling out across the city. Tomorrow, hotels.

Make Indian hospitality run as smoothly as the world's best — from the gully to the gallery.

Founder's note

We built it because we needed it.

In 2017 I was running a single-outlet cafe on SB Road, Pune. We used a popular POS, a separate inventory app, a third for HR, a fourth for payments. None of them talked to each other.

Closing time was 45 minutes of reconciliation every night. The cashier disagreed with the kitchen on what was actually served. Inventory drifted because nobody updated it during a rush. The investor view was a Google Sheet I updated on Sunday mornings.

So I built one. Local-first because our internet died at 8 pm every Tuesday. Hindi voice because our kitchen staff don't read tickets in English at speed. UPI deep-link because customers kept asking for it.

Today Cafe Deja Vu runs on it across four outlets — SB Road, Bavdhan, Kothrud and Katraj. Closing time is eight minutes. We're now opening it up to other Pune restaurants who want the same thing we built for ourselves.

How we build

Four principles. No exceptions.

Operators first

Every feature is requested or validated by a real restaurant we work with.

Local-first

Your data lives on your laptop. The cloud is a backup, not a master.

Indian by design

UPI, GST, Hindi voice, WhatsApp — built in, not bolted on.

Secure by default

PIN auth, bcrypt, idempotent writes, daily encrypted backups.

Where we've been

Two years of building. Real cafes serving on it every day.

  1. 2017

    First outlet · first prototype

Cafe Deja Vu opens on SB Road, Pune. Founder builds the first SROS prototype on a single touch laptop because no off-the-shelf POS + inventory + HR + payments stack actually talks to itself. Closing time drops from 45 minutes to 8.

  2. 2020

    Multi-outlet expansion

Cafe Deja Vu Bavdhan and Katraj open. Brand-level dashboards, inventory across outlets, pricing rule engine all come together in production.

  3. 2025

    Fourth outlet — Kothrud

Cafe Deja Vu Kothrud opens, all four outlets running on the same instance. Brand-wide menu inheritance and consolidated inventory go live.

  4. 2025 Q2

    XENIOS public launch

Rebrand from SROS, public availability, hospitality OS positioning. Designed to scale to 50+ outlets in year one.

  5. 2026 June

    Resort beta launch

Hotel + room + housekeeping modules launch in closed beta with select resort properties.

  6. 2026 H2

    Brand partnerships

Onboarding Tandoor Point, Food Junction, Biryani Kart and Kalvan as design partners across Pune.
